The cost of living in Australia is high, and you will have many opportunities to cook for yourself.
In this article, I would like to introduce some of the famous companies that you may often see in the market.
1 Chobani
Chobani is an Australian yogurt maker established in 2005.
It is so famous that you can find it in every supermarket, and it sells a wide range of products for both children and adults.
Their most famous product, Greek yogurt, comes in 12 different flavors, and you can feel the deliciousness of the ingredients!
My favorite is the strawberry flavored yogurt, which is easy to eat because of its moderate sweetness.
2 Arnott’s
Even if you’ve never been to Australia, you’ve probably heard of a snack called timtam.
Arnott’s is a cookie manufacturer with a market share of over 50% in Australia.
They sell Timtam and other crunchy Shapes.
I’m sure you’ve had the experience of buying them naturally in the snack section of your supermarket.
The taste of their products is consistent, so I recommend them.
3 Ben’s Original
Ben’s Original is a rice cooking company with a history of over 70 years.
They have a large market share in the U.S., and in 2007, they started selling microwavable rice in Australia.
The rice is ideal for Indian curry and Southeast Asian cuisine, and is a popular product because it is easy to prepare.
I used to buy it a lot when I was cooking for myself.
4 Bundaberg
When you live in Australia, you will probably have the opportunity to drink a drink called ginger beer.
Bundaberg is a company that produces ginger beer, and although there are other companies in the industry, Bundaberg is particularly well known.
It is a very tasty carbonated beverage with ginger flavor and a nice sweet taste.
I used to buy a case of it when it was on sale at the supermarket because it was sometimes cheap.
There is also an apple cider with a hint of apple flavor, so be sure to try it!
5 Bega Cheese Limited
Bega Cheese Limited is an Australian fresh produce company that sells milk and cheese.
In 2017, the company acquired Vegemite, Australia’s national food company, as a subsidiary.
Vegemite is a fermented food and is very popular among Aussies for its health benefits.
Also, their Vega Cheese products are easy to use on pizzas and in cooking, so I highly recommend them!
