Hello everyone. This is Olivertomo!
Do you ever get stressed out from working or studying in Sydney?
The place you should go when you feel like that is a nightclub!
It’s great to enjoy a drink with loud music playing in the background.
Let’s take a look at three of the best nightclubs in Sydney!
I experienced studying abroad in Sydney for a year starting in 2018. Currently, I am writing a blog about my experience.
By reading this post, you’ll get to know about nightclubs in Sydney!
Top 3 Recommended Nightclubs in Sydney
I made a ranking of the best nightclubs I visited while studying abroad.
I hope you’ll find it useful in the future!
Let’s take a look at the ranking!
No. 3 80 Proof @ Cheers Bar
This pub is a place that turns into a club late at night, and is popular among the locals.
The music in the club is mostly Latin, so it’s a great place to go when you want to dance!
There are a lot of people who are in a good mood, so you should be able to enjoy yourself.
In the evenings, they have a language exchange party, so check that out too!
2nd Side Bar
This is the best club for those who don’t like large groups of people.
The pub itself is not that big, so it is a place you can easily join.
Fridays and Saturdays are the most crowded, so I think you’ll enjoy it!
On Sundays, there are fewer customers, so try to go according to your mood.
No. 1 ivy precinct
This club is a real club and the most famous place in Sydney.
The entrance fee is expensive at $40, but the club has lots of levels and even a pool outside!
Every Thursday, the entrance fee is $10, so I recommend it.
It’s an upscale club, so the drinks are a bit expensive, but you can listen to music by famous DJs.
If you’re in Sydney, this is the club to go to at least once!
Points to note at nightclubs
1 Don’t forget your ID card
You always need to show your ID to get into a club, so don’t forget to bring it with you.
Also, it is often dark inside, so be careful not to lose it.
2 Beware of theft
Theft is a common occurrence even in Sydney, which is a very safe city.
It is said that theft in clubs is easy to carry out, so please be very careful.
It is recommended that you keep your wallet and smart phone in your front pocket or backpack.
3 Stay away from suspicious people
There are security guards at the entrance of the club, but there are also suspicious people who walk right past them.
Do not approach people who look suspicious.
Some of them may be involved in drug deals.
What should I wear?
In my experience, you can go to a club wearing normal shoes and clothes.
Sandals and slippers will definitely be denied entry, so be careful.
What is the average entrance fee?
My personal feeling is that the average entrance fee is $10.
However, you should get there early because late at night, a surcharge may be added.
Some places have promotions where admission is free, so check their website!

- If you want to enjoy Latin music, go to 80 Proof.
