【魯十二魯肉飯】Only 30% of people know about it? Recommended Lu Noodles in Kaohsiung Part 1

Hello everyone! I’m @olivertomolife and I’ve studied abroad in Kaohsiung!





There is a Liouhe Night Market near my house, and while walking around the area, I found a delicious-looking restaurant.





The name of the restaurant is 魯十二魯肉飯.





It is a rare new restaurant in Kaohsiung, so I don’t think you can find it in the guidebook.




Let me introduce you to the restaurant!

I’ve been on a working holiday in Kaohsiung for a year since February 2020. Now I am writing a blog based on that experience.





By reading this post, you’ll get to know the best ru lou fan in Kaohsiung!

What is 魯十二魯肉飯?

This restaurant has nine locations in Taiwan.





The distribution is 2 stores in the north, 2 stores in the central part, 4 stores in the south, and 1 store on a remote island.





Many of them are located in Kaohsiung, so maybe they originated in the south.





The store in Liouhe Night Market was new and clean.





It’s a cheap and tasty place, highly recommended!

How to get to the restaurant

First of all, go out from Exit 11 of the MRT station in Mei li dao station.





Once you are outside…





You will see a sign.

Cross the crosswalk and turn left, watching out for motorcycles.





As you continue, you will see a drugstore called Watsons.





Turn through it…

You’ll see the store’s sign on your left!

Tableware is self-service.

Budget for the meal

The most expensive meal is about $90 Taiwan dollars, so it’s very reasonable!





You can get a full meal for about $150 TWD.

I recommend the Lu lou fan!





You can also order vegetables and tea.

How to Order and Points to Note

You can order and pay at the entrance.





You must pay in advance, and only cash is accepted.





You have to make a decision at the entrance, so if you look at the menu first, it will go smoothly.

Taste the food

The dishes I ordered arrived!





I ordered some ru lou fan and vegetables.





I tried it right away, and the refreshing taste made my rice go faster!





The meat isn’t as fatty as other restaurants, and the sweet soy sauce sauce goes perfectly with the rice!





The vegetables were light and simple in flavor.





The quantity is small, so I think it’s better to order other dishes.
