The restaurant I’m going to introduce here, Big Mama, is located right next to the train station, so anyone can easily go there.
The food is reasonably priced and delicious, so if you’re looking for a good place to eat, please read through to the end!

Experienced a working holiday in Kaohsiung for a year from February 2020. Currently, I am writing a blog based on that experience.
By reading this post, you’ll get to know some of the best Italian restaurants in Kaohsiung!
What is Big Mama?
Big Mama is an Italian restaurant located a minute walk from Yanchengpu Station in Kaohsiung.
It is a relatively new restaurant, and its white exterior is very noticeable.
The food is reasonably priced and delicious, so I highly recommend it!

- Opening hours: Daily 11:30am – 2:30pm, 5:30pm – 10:00pm
- Closed: Tuesdays
How to get to the restaurant
The restaurant is only one minute away from Yanchengpu Station!
Take Exit 4, make a U-turn to the left, and you will find it right in front of you.
It is a new building and looks like a recently opened restaurant.
It’s very convenient to get there.
The inside of the store
When you enter the restaurant, you will be asked to go upstairs.
After that, the staff will show you your seat.
It’s a stylish interior, and I think its well designed!
You won’t get bored while waiting for your food.
Recommended menu
I recommend the pizzas and pastas, and they have a great set menu!
They also have hamburgers.
How to Order and Points to Note
Once you have decided on a menu, you can place your order on the first floor and pay in advance.
After paying the bill, you will get a receipt and return to your seat.
Only cash was accepted as payment.
Taste of the food
I wanted to order the Bolognese, but they were out of stock, so I ordered the pasta with chicken in green sauce!
It was very easy to eat, with the flavor of the pasta sauce and the vegetables.
The chicken, pea pods, and onions were the ingredients, so if you like healthy dishes, you should definitely order this.
For men, I felt that the amount of food and the hardness of the pasta were a bit insufficient.
I think it’s just right to order the side dishes as well.
