I’ve been on a working holiday in Kaohsiung for a year since February 2020. Currently, I am writing a blog based on that experience.

What is Da Yuan Zi?
It is a beverage store with more than 200 stores in Taiwan since it opened its first store in 2001 in Changhua, south-central Taiwan.
Their fruit juices, made from fresh fruits, are very sweet and easy to drink.
They deal directly with contract farmers in Taiwan, so they can use fruit directly from the source.
They have also opened stores overseas, in China, Cambodia, and the United States.
I will post information about the store I visited in Kaohsiung.

Recommended drinks at Da Yuan Zi
They sell drinks according to the seasons in Taiwan, but my favorite is their mango juice in the summer!
The strawberry drink they sell in the winter months is just as good!
Taste of the drink
I bought some mango sorbet in the summer time!
When I drank it, the concentrated sweetness of the mango was very tasty.
Surprisingly, the ratio of mango is high, so you can feel the sweetness of the fruit.
It is naturally sweet and also contains mangoes cut into small pieces.
Drinking it all at once will give you a headache, so be careful lol!

It is a take-out only store, so there are no chairs.

What they sell changes with the seasons, so you can buy the fruit that’s in season!
Tricks you should know
If you bring your own container when you buy a drink, you can get a small discount on the price!
This kind of service has become mainstream in Taiwanese beverage stores, so I’m sure other stores have it too.
