What is Menya Musashi?

Menya Musashi has been serving innovative ramen since its establishment in Tokyo in 1996.

The company has 15 stores in Tokyo and is actively involved in joint projects with various companies.

Each store features a different menu with different flavors, so you can enjoy a different kind of ramen at each store!

Menya Musashi has also expanded overseas, with locations in Taiwan, the United States, and Indonesia.

About Menya Musashi in Taiwan

Kaohsiung ramen

In Taiwan, there are two Menya Musashi restaurants in Taipei, one in Taichung, and two in Kaohsiung.

Just like in Japan, each store offers different types and flavors of ramen.

It is also very popular in Taiwan, and people stand in line for it.

I have been to the Kaohsiung store, and I will explain about it.

How to get to Menya Musashi Wukong Branch

It is conveniently located in a very accessible area from the train station.

The restaurant is spacious and has many seats, so you can enjoy your meal at your leisure.

If you sit near the kitchen, you can watch the cooking!

The design makes you feel nostalgic as if you were in Japan.

Recommended menu

I recommend the thick tsukemen!

They also have tonkotsu ramen and torihakuyu ramen.

There are also a variety of side dishes.

How to Order and Points to Note

Place your order with the waitress.

You can change your order to a large bowl of noodles for free, so it is recommended for those who want to eat a lot.

The bill is paid later, and card payment is also accepted.

Taste of the food

Kaohsiung ramen

I ordered the special tsukemen!

It brought back memories of eating at Mian-Ya Musashi in Japan.

I would like to try it right away.

It’s even better than I expected, the noodles and the broth go so well together!

The pork chashu is soaked in flavor and melts in your mouth.

However, the taste was thicker than in Japan, so be careful not to drink too much of the soup.

Overall, I was satisfied!
