What is Thai-style 椒麻雞腿飯?

Kaohsiung Thai food

This restaurant is located in Kaohsiung’s Sanduo shopping district and specializes in Thai food.

Thai food in Taiwan can be expensive, but this restaurant is cheap and delicious!

The portions are large, and it’s a great place to go when you want to fill up.

It’s also close to the train station, so even if you’re new to Kaohsiung, you’re in good hands!

How to get to the store

Taiwan Kaohsiung

We are located about 5 minutes away from Exit 4 of the Sanduo shopping District MRT line.

Take Exit 4, cross the crosswalk, and you will see the Sogo department store.

If there is an impassable alley on the way, walk carefully along the roadway and you will arrive.

The atmosphere inside the restaurant

The kitchen is located at the entrance of the restaurant, and there are seats in the back.

You can take a menu and sit down freely.

Tableware and tea are available at the entrance, so you can pick them up yourself.

The restaurant may be crowded during lunch time.

Recommended menu

I recommend the Thai-style chicken rice and Thai curry!

Green and red curries are available.

They also have a variety of other dishes such as fried rice and fish.

Most of the menu items are served with side dishes and rice.

How to Order and Points to Note

There is a menu list at the entrance, so take it before you get a seat.

The price is paid in advance, so you pay the bill when you get the menu.

One thing to note is that all rice dishes come with a choice of three side dishes, so choose three food numbers at the entrance and fill them in.

There’s a huge variety of side dishes, so I’m sure you won’t get bored every time!

Taste of the dishes

Kaohsiung green curry

This time I ordered the green curry!

A whopping $90 Taiwan dollars for this amount!

The taste is spicy with a hint of sweetness from the coconut, so it really whets your appetite.

It tastes just like the real thing, with well-cooked vegetables and meat!

For the green curry, you can choose the meat from chicken, pork, beef, or fish, and each one will have a different texture and taste.

It’s a very cheap and satisfying store, please go!
