However, in my experience, it is not to eat dumplings at night markets.





This is because the dumplings they use are frozen supermarket dumplings and do not taste good.





When I was living in Kaohsiung, I used to bake my own frozen dumplings from the supermarket, so I knew immediately.





So, keep in mind that the chances of finding good dumplings at night markets are less.

3 Hotels

There are some luxury hotels in Kaohsiung that offer meals.





The meals at the better priced hotels are tasty and you can get delicious dumplings.





However, staying in a hotel just to eat dumplings is expensive, so it is recommended to take advantage of special occasions to taste them.

What is Steamed Yuan Potstickers?

This restaurant is privately owned and operated in Kaohsiung, and is popular for its cheap and delicious food.





And with the amount of food they serve, I think it’s great for lunch!

There is a menu and pen at the entrance, so you can fill out your order at your seat.





The bill is paid later, so it’s easier if you remember the amount.

Taste of the food

I ordered steamed dumplings and hot and sour sauce!





The dumplings were steamed well and had a beautiful shape.





And when you try them right away, you can feel the flavorful broth overflowing from inside the dumpling!





Since the dumplings are freshly made and served, they are very hot, so please be careful.





The skin is glutinous, and you can feel that you are eating a solid dumpling.





As for the taste of the hot and sour soup, it too has just the right amount of sourness, and is delicious and soothing to the body.





This is also freshly made, the temperature is a little hot, so please be careful when drinking.
