Hello everyone. I’m @olivertomolife and I’ve studied in Sydney before!
I have a question for those of you who are in Sydney for language school or studying for qualifications.
Where do you usually study?
In a share house, it can be difficult to concentrate due to the noise around you…
So, I’d like to introduce you to some libraries in Sydney that I recommend for studying.
If you’ve just arrived in Sydney, or even if you’re living in Sydney, this is a must-see!
I studied abroad in Sydney for a year starting in 2018. Currently, I am writing a blog about my experience.
By reading this post, you’ll get to know about the best libraries in Sydney for studying!
If you are looking for a share house in Australia, please also refer to the following article.
3 Libraries Recommended for Studying
1 State Library of New South Wales
As the name suggests, this is a large library in the state.
It has many seats and is used by a wide range of people from students to adults.
It has a beautiful interior with western style architecture, making it a great place to work.
It’s very close to the station, so it’s easy to get there!
The seating gets crowded on weekends, so I recommend getting there early.
2 Custom’s House Library
This library is located near the Opera House, right in front of the station, so it’s very convenient.
The library is located in a corner of a museum, and one of its features is that you can read books from many different countries.
There is also a video corner, which you can watch if you become a member.
I can recommend it because it’s always empty!
3 Darling Square Library
This library is located near Darling Harbour and has a very calm atmosphere.
The internal environment is quiet as well, so if you’re looking for a calm place to work, this is the place for you!
If you lose your concentration, you can also take a walk outside.
There’s plenty of seating, and it’s a comfortable place, so I recommend it!
3 Cafes that are perfect for working
1Guylian Belgian Chocolate Café
This café is located near the Town Hall station and also serves Belgian chocolate.
The café is always packed with people enjoying the authentic taste of Belgian chocolate.
It is recommended to get there early to secure a seat.
You can also take it home, which is great when you don’t have much time.
2 Underwood lane Cafe
This cafe is located near the Opera House’s station and features a stylish interior.
Their coffee and desserts are delicious, you have to try them!
There are many seats and the atmosphere is relaxed.
The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable, so be sure to visit!
3 The Rocks Cafe
The Rocks Cafe is a trendy cafe located in the Rocks Market, and is always crowded on weekends.
Not only do they serve great coffee, but their fish and chips are really good too!
There are many traditional buildings around, so I think you will enjoy it.
They also have a great selection of desserts, so be sure to give them a try!
