This time, I’d like to introduce you to a popular Hong Kong restaurant in the heart of Kaohsiung.

I have been on a working holiday in Kaohsiung for one year since February 2020. Currently, I am writing a blog based on that experience.

What is 港味高師父港式點心專賣店?

This restaurant is conveniently located just outside Exit 2 of the Meili dao Station.




They have Hong Kong chefs, so you’ll get to eat authentic Hong Kong food!




The food is a bit more expensive than most Kaohsiung restaurants, but the taste is better for it.




It’s a little more expensive than most restaurants in Kaohsiung, but the taste is better.




If you want authentic food, you should definitely go there!

The store looks like it has been in the local area for many years, and has a sense of history.




The red sign is sure to whet your appetite!

There are tables all over the place, and the walls are covered with maps of Hong Kong and train routes.




The staff was friendly and spoke to me in Japanese.




I got the impression that the store turns quickly.

The prices are higher than the usual Taiwanese fare.

I recommend the beef dry noodle!

Checkout is at the end, and only cash is accepted.




The only caveat is that depending on the time of day, the restaurant may be full and you may have to wait.

Beef dry noodle soup with thick noodles, vegetables and beef, lightly seasoned, delicious!




The portions are small, so it’s better to order other dishes as well.




Taiwan has a lot of fatty food, so sometimes it’s good to have a refreshing dish.
