2 What are the rules for part-time jobs?

Basically, there are no rules, but you should not be absent without notice or be significantly late.



Most part-time jobs in Australia allow you to wear any hair color and style you like, so there is no need to worry about it.



However, it is important to keep in mind that some part-time jobs run by Japanese restaurant may have strict rules.


3 What is the hourly wage for part-time jobs in Australia?

The minimum hourly wage in Australia is an amazing 19.84 Australian dollars!



When converted into Japanese yen, the hourly wage is a whopping 1500 yen per hour.



What’s even more amazing is that if you work on weekends, public holidays or during the New Year holidays, your hourly rate can double or triple!



This often applies to local part-time jobs, so it is best to get a local job if possible.


4 What are the working hours for a student visa and a working holiday visa?

First of all, if you are working part-time on a student visa, you are allowed to work up to 40 hours in two weeks, so you can work up to 80 hours in a month.



On the other hand, a working holiday visa allows you to work for the same employer for up to 6 months.



If you want to work for the same employer for a year, you will need to apply to the Australian government for permission.


5 How do I find a part-time job?
