What is Black Star pastry?
Black Star pastry was established in Sydney in 2008 and started by selling cakes for weddings.
They have stores in Newtown, Rosebery, Town Hall and Moore Park in Sydney.
The main store is visited by customers from all over Australia, although a store has recently opened in Melbourne.
They have a cake store and a café, and they have a wide range of desserts that they are proud of.
The cakes topped with almonds, rose cream, watermelon, strawberries, and pistachios are beautiful to look at and very popular.
In the past, they have even been featured in the New York Times.

Atmosphere of the store
I’ve been to the store in Town Hall, so I’ll explain about that one.
The store is located in a shopping mall called The Galeries, right next to the Kinokuniya bookstore.
The store is very small, so it is always packed.
Therefore, you need to get there early to get a seat.
The tables are small, so if you want to relax, you may feel cramped.
How to Order and Points to Note
There is a place to order at the entrance, so line up and place your order.
The flow of food is very fast, so it’s best to decide what you want to order in advance.
You can also pay by credit card, which is convenient.
The taste of watermelon cake
I ordered the watermelon and strawberry cake!
It’s a simple cake with five layers of batter and fruit on top.
Most foreign cakes are very sweet, but when I tried it, it had a nice sweetness and a very elegant taste!
The size of the cake is also just right, so I think even women can finish it.
My Australian friend told me that she sometimes buys a large size cake and gives it as a birthday cake.
I’m so jealous that I can eat that delicious watermelon cake on my birthday…
The deliciousness of the ingredients stands out, it was such a cake.
