As a cosmopolitan city, Sydney has many places to visit, and they are all fascinating, aren’t they?
I’d like to introduce you to three of the best places to visit in Sydney!
If you want to know information that you can’t find in guidebooks, this is a must-see!
I experienced studying abroad in Sydney for a year starting in 2018. Currently, I am writing a blog about that experience.
By reading this post, you’ll get to know about the best places to visit in Sydney!
Three places you must visit in Sydney!
1 Opera House
Registered as a World Heritage Site in 2007, the Opera House is the most famous tourist attraction in Australia, and as the name suggests, music concerts are held inside.
It is easily accessible from the train station and the surrounding scenery is beautiful, making it a place where many tourists take pictures.
There’s even a pub on the grounds of the opera house, so you can enjoy a drink while looking out at the ocean!
You can read about my actual experience of the Opera House in the following article.
2 Newtown
Newtown, a suburb a bit far from the city of Sydney, is a great place for those who are interested in artistic activities.
Of course, the whole town is very trendy, so even people who are not interested in art can enjoy this place.
There are plenty of cafes, vintage records, and great pizza places, so you can spend all day sightseeing!
You can read more about the best places to visit in Newtown in the following article.
3 Market City
Located in Sydney’s Chinatown, this shopping mall is also a place unlike any other.
While the second floor sells household goods, the first floor is a market where souvenirs and other items are sold.
The first floor is a market where souvenirs are sold. In the market, you can only use cash, but you will enjoy bargaining for the goods.
